Sea Otter Classic, where the cycling community comes together to check out what’s new, connect with each other, and catch every kind of bike racing.

Hudski Crew rolled out with the good old horse trailer, this time with a fresh setup, plenty of seating, and some rugs to really tie the room together. We kept it true to us, making cyanotypes with new friends and hanging out, while also sharing what’s coming next: the return of the beloved Doggler with a steel fork, a new SRAM SX/NX Eagle Dualist option, plus new Dualist colors and frameset options.

Return of the Doggler

ETA: Late June 2026

Back by popular demand, the Doggler returns, now featuring a steel fork (12x100 spacing). The Doggler is a perfect platform for building a custom ripper suitable for everyday duties.

Framesets include:

  • Steel fork (1-1/8" steerer)
  • Wolf Tooth front axle (12x100)
  • Wolf Tooth Components rear thru axle (12x142)
  • Wolf Tooth Components seat post collar (34.9mm)
  • Hudski derailleur hanger & assorted small hardware
  • Headset not included (required headset: ZS44 / ZS44)

Same Dualist frameset and geo you know and love, now with a lower priced SRAM NX Eagle option for a more budget-friendly build, plus fresh new colors. Full bike colors will include teal blue, brown, and an off-white, with frameset options in lemon lime and a matte raw finish.

Fun in the Sun

One of our favorite traditions is creating a little art escape for anyone who wanders by. This year’s idea came together when Brian was at HQ and a customer mentioned cyanotypes, which got his gears turning for what we could bring to Sea Otter Classic.

By the time the weekend rolled around, we had a full setup with a mix of bike parts, tools, and acetate prints of all the logos and sticker designs we’ve used over the years ready to go. The sun was out shining, and people jumped in making prints, layering chains, tools, logos, and whatever they could find onto bandanas to create their own designs, and the results turned out rad!

Continuing with Hudski’s theme of bringing art and community together, we had a sweet booth, right on the “glacial blue” pond. We brought RC motorboats that brought people together and turned into a group effort to decorate, creating distinguishable differences between the two so we could send them ripping around the water for impromptu races, which helped keep the energy high all weekend long.

Hudski had a blast joining fellow Sea Otter exhibitors, getting out for some rides and making our way up to the infamous Corkscrew on Laguna Seca Raceway. It was one of those classic moments that reminds us why we love coming to Sea Otter. Good people, good bikes, good memories, and a spur-of-the-moment happy hour. Hard not to love being part of this community.

If you missed the Sea Otter drop we have a limited number of Shredders Digest x Hudski collab hand tie-dyed T-shirts available.

Big thanks to everyone who stopped by during Sea Otter Classic! We had an absolute blast chatting bikes, making art, and sharing a few cheers over some well-earned refreshments. Can’t wait to do it all again next year.
